Mary Learned | Interior Designer

Mary joined Stamm and Black in 2019 following 4 years on the Restoration Hardware design team in Boston. Formally trained as a Physical Therapist, she's always had a keen eye for symmetry and balance. Her years of travel and living abroad also gave her a love and appreciation of diversity in architecture and design. After settling back in the states 20 years ago and building two homes and renovating a third, she realized she had a passion and an eye for design and began studies at BAC. She also started a small antique and upcycling business with a curated collection of vintage "treasures" from her travels.

Mary is drawn to an updated take on classic design as she loves to juxtapose modern with timeless design elements. She feels a home should reflect the personality and lifestyle of her clients and gets the most satisfaction by bringing their vision to life. When not in design mode, Mary practices yoga and meditation, and enjoys hiking with her dog and skiing in Vermont.

Kendra Day | Interior Designer

Kendra has been creating floor plans and sketches since she was using colored pencils at her dad’s construction job sites. Since then, Kendra pursued her passion for design and fine art at the University of Massachusetts. In 2019, she became an integral part of the Stamm & Black team. Where her role has involved assisting clients in crafting and enhancing spaces that effortlessly combine aesthetics with functionality. Kendra derives immense satisfaction from witnessing her clients' excitement as their envisioned designs gradually come to fruition, making it her most cherished aspect of the design process. 

Kendra describes her own style as modern organic with a classic touch and a hint of vintage. She loves pulling inspiration from her travels both globally and closer to home with new restaurants and hotels. Outside of the office Kendra can be found by the water or adjust the tranquility of the woods accompanied by her two dogs and baby boy.
